Hero Speed Buff Fixes Now Live!
"A commander’s orders mean little if their troops cannot keep up." – War College Proverb
A critical flaw in battlefield logistics has been addressed: Heroic speed buffs were not reaching their full potential due to mismatched movement limits. Our engineers have recalibrated march protocols to ensure that your swiftest leaders no longer become the slowest link in the chain of command.
What Was the Issue?
Several Heroes - renowned for boosting movement speed - were granting bonuses that their own capped speed could not sustain, thereby throttling the effectiveness of the units they were meant to lead. This affected:
Maeve – +50% Infantry Movement Speed
Allenby – +25% Speed to All Units
Joffre – +50% Infantry Movement Speed
Lawrence – +50% Speed to All Units
Georg – +50% Artillery Movement Speed
In each case, units could not reach the speeds promised due to the hero acting as a limiting factor in the march.
What Has Changed?
Effective now, the following corrections have been deployed to restore full speed potential across the front:
Allenby & Lawrence:
Now move at the speed of Armored Cars and apply their buffs to themselves as well.Maeve, Joffre & Bruchmüller:
Their base speeds have been raised to match their buffed unit maximums - Infantry and Artillery will now move at full throttle.Tatiana: Already correctly buffs herself. No change needed.
What Does This Mean for You?
All speed-enhancing Heroes now deliver the full benefit of their abilities.
Unit compositions that rely on speed are now unlocked to their true potential.
Your swiftest forces can march at the speed of victory - no lag, no bottlenecks.
⚠️ Note: These changes apply only to newly created game rounds. Ongoing games will retain previous Hero movement stats.
Your troops are faster, your flanks sharper, your momentum unstoppable.
Strike hard, strike fast General! 🫡
