New Map

 

  • '[Speed] World at War', a new version of the popular 'Word at War' map is now available.

    • Speed factor: 4x

    • Playable nations: 100

    • Max Game duration: 56 in-game days

    • Number of teams: 10

    • Coalition member limit: 5

    • Solo victory points: 2736

    • Team victory points: 3952

    • Solo rewards: 

      • 12500, 9000, 6500, 5000, 4000, …, 250

    • Team rewards: 

      • 9000, 6500, 5000, 4000, 3000, ..., 250

    • '[Speed] World at War' will be available next to the classic 'World at War'. It will not replace the classic 'World at War' map.

    • '[Speed] World at War' cannot be created with a Premium Account.

General

 

  • Information about the maps’ speed is available in the game panel. 

  • New functions were added to the stop button. Clicking ‘stop’ under a unit triggers the additional cancellation of Deploy, Convert, and Upgrade orders.

Bug Fixes

 

  • An issue was resolved that caused idling armies on roads to attack back automatically when an enemy army attacked them.

    • Idling armies only defend when being attacked regardless of their position inside the province now.

    • This does not affect ranged armies such as artilleries.

  • A bug was fixed that prevented the icon to indicate the lowered speed of a unit with lowered hit points, although the hover text message was displayed.

    • The icon indicating lowered speeds is now displayed to the right of the speed value if a unit is slowed down due to missing hit points for example.

  • An issue was resolved that could cause the production queue overlay of a province to disappear when it was moved out of focus.

  • A bug was fixed that prevented war to be triggered when a unit was moved to a province center of another nation which you were previously at peace with.

    • A war is triggered now, no matter where in a province an army is moved to.

  • An issue was resolved that prevented an attack from being canceled properly. When canceling an attack, the unit used to “remember” the cancellation and still displayed an attack path even after other orders were given. This is not the case anymore.

  • A bug was fixed that caused Rockets to return to their place of origin mid-flight if the airstrip they were launched from was destroyed.

  • An issue was resolved that caused the chat to become transparent every time it was updated.  

    • The chat remains opaque now.

  • A bug was fixed that prevented the cost of decreasing province morale to be displayed correctly when hovering over the 'Decrease Moral' button in the province bar if more than one province was selected to decrease morale.

    • The 'Decrease Morale' tooltip now displays the combined Gold cost for 'Morale Decrease' for all selected provinces.

  • A bug was fixed that made “missing requirements” pop-ups overlap with the shop.

  • A bug was fixed that could cause an error message to appear on mobile devices when opening the shop.

  • An issue was resolved that displayed the Anonymous games of a player next to all other games when searching for a player's name in the Game tab.

    • Anonymous game rounds are not displayed anymore.

  • A bug was fixed that caused the building icon to be displayed in the unit overview of battleships instead of the submarine icon for their "vs submarines" stats.

  • A bug was fixed that prevented the Day Change Timer and the Game Speed to be displayed correctly in games with a speed factor of x6 and x10.

  • An issue was resolved that displayed artillery attack rounds when hovering the attack arrow. The attack rounds are not shown anymore. 

  • Several bugs were fixed that triggered error popups when clicking on users in the alliance menu. 

  • An issue on mobile devices was resolved that caused diplomacy messages to disappear when closing the pop-up by tapping on the background and not closing it via the x button. 

    • When tapping away from the pop-up to close it, the messages page is displayed in full view thereafter now.

  • A bug was fixed that prevented the arrival and wait time of units from updating correctly when moving the slider in the 'Delay March' pop-up in games with an increased speed factor.

  • An issue was resolved that caused the unit info of paratroopers to display a wrong delay time on speed maps. The delay time on speed maps now correctly factors in the higher speed factor.

  • An issue with the alliance invitation was resolved. After accepting invites to join alliances, the game will refresh automatically and your status will be updated right away. 

  • A bug was fixed that made the tooltip state that air units get a defense bonus because of a fortification in a province, although this bonus is not applied.  Air units are considered to be "in the air" all the time. Therefore this bonus was never intended to be applied and the incorrect tooltip was adjusted.
