Stuttering and freezing, in game terms, refers to incidents where the game seems to freeze up, or you are unable to interact with it. Stuttering also includes any incidents where animations or transitions that should be smooth aren’t, especially if this results in delays in taking the actions you would like to.

Usually, these incidents are a result of your device being unable to keep up with the demands of the game, which can itself have a few different causes.

If you are consistently experiencing these issues, please open the Settings menu and set your app to ‘Low Graphics’ mode. This will lower the resource demands of the game on your device and may be of particular use for older or lower-end devices.

If the issues are sporadic and only happen on occasion, there are a couple of things that can be attempted.

Firstly, check your battery saver settings. Devices on low battery will often limit the amount of resources apps can use, and this, in turn, will damage the performance of the app.

Secondly, some in-game files may have become corrupted or failed to install correctly. To rectify this, or at least rule it out, please uninstall the app from your device and then redownload it from your preferred storefront. If you are playing via your desktop browser, please check your hardware acceleration settings, particularly when using Chrome.

Finally, please keep in mind that your device must be kept relatively up to date, and so older devices, or those running older operating systems, may struggle to run the games.
