We understand it can be confusing to see the same time durations on different map speeds. Here's how it works:
Understanding Map Speeds:
- 1x Map: Time progresses at a normal rate. For example, if a building takes 1 day to construct, it will take 24 hours in real-time.
- 4x Map: Time progresses 4 times faster. Although the game still shows the original time duration (e.g., 1 day for construction), it actually completes much faster in real-time. So, a 1-day construction on a 4x map will finish in 6 hours real-time.
Example:
- Building Construction: If a building shows a 1-day construction time, on a 4x map, it will be completed in 6 hours real-time.
- Troop Movement: If moving troops takes 12 hours on a 1x map, it will take only 3 hours on a 4x map.
Why It’s Displayed This Way: The game displays the original times to maintain consistency across different map speeds, but the actual time taken is adjusted according to the map speed.
