General

  • Overhauled the design of our Mobile Shop to be more convenient and user friendly
  • Made important changes to the Advisor to improve the new player experience.
    • The Advisor will now only disappear after completing all the tasks and collecting its rewards. Previously the advisor would disappear after 7 days, leaving new players without guidance
    • Streamlined the Advisor UI and added a new task rewarding players for surviving a certain number of days into a map.

Balancing

Stealth units are receiving some much needed love! The efficiency of Militia units eclipses other stealth based infantry units when infiltrating enemy terrain. We are making some changes to encourage more varied unit choices in the mid to late game, while also updating the role of Tank Destroyers.

  •  Militia
    • Removed Stealth on Mountain Terrain
    • Stealth Levels decreased
      • Lvl 2: Stealth 2 → 1
      • Lvl 3: Stealth 3 → 2
      • Lvl 4: Stealth 4 → 2
These changes make it harder for Milita to maneuver on enemy terrain. This will encourage using Militia as a defensive unit on home territory, so they don’t eclipse the role of Paratroopers/Commandos any longer.
  • Commandos / Paratroopers
    • Stealth Levels increased
      • Lvl 1: Stealth 1 → 3
      • Lvl 2: Stealth 2 → 4
      • Lvl 3: Stealth 3 → 5
      • Lvl 4: Stealth 4 → 6
This change gives these elite units more leverage against the higher level Scout units already available when Paratroopers and Commandos unlock.
  • Tank Destroyer
    • Buffed the unit on Plains Terrain
    • Added Stealth on Plains
    • Added strength bonus on Plains: +25%
    • Removed strength bonus on Urban terrain

This will allow the Tank Destroyer to meet Tanks where they are at their best, making them the premier defensive choice against invading tank stacks. 
At the same time we don't want the Tank Destroyer to be the universal best choice for all scenarios. To defend cities, the Anti-Tank gun will still be the best bang for your buck.

Similar to Militia, we want to encourage setting traps and defensive gameplay with Tank Destroyers. With the decreased stealth levels, invading armies can counter the unit through proper reconnaissance and scouting.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that caused a damage reduction factor to be applied twice. Patrolling aircraft will now deal their full, intended damage to buildings and province morale.
  • Added the missing trade transaction fee to the trade interface on mobile. Previously only Desktop users were able to see what fees were incurred with each trade.
  • Fixed the time displayed when setting a delayed march. Now when entering a time value it’ll be considered as real time, not in-game time. This makes it much easier to correctly set up a delayed march on speed maps.
  • Fixed text breaking out of bounds in the game info window for Alliance vs Alliance matches.
  • Fixed a bug causing an infinite loading screen on the Steam client.
