Please note that the following improvements only affect newly created Beta game rounds and the mentioned changes are related to a recent combat mechanics update that is only available on Beta. Existing Beta game rounds and all live rounds are not affected by these changes.

 

Buildings

  • Barracks

    • reduced barracks upkeep by 50% (back to the original value from live version)

    • reduced recruitment speed bonus from barracks to 50% per level (back to original values from live version)

  • Workshop

    • workshop level 2 now improves production times again

    • reduced workshop hitpoints on both levels 20 → 5

    • increased workshop 2 building time 15 min → 30 min

  • Recruiting Office 

    • reduced recruiting office hitpoints 20 → 5

  • Fortress

    • increased the fortress threshold when units get hidden, so the fortress level 1 does not hide units anymore.

Units

  • General

    • increased all building damage to 20% of the units’ offensive land damage (except for infantry which will be at 10%)

    • increased morale damage to ~4% of the units offensive land damage (except for infantry which will be at ~2%)

    • increased naval damage of land units to ~50% of the offensive land damage

    • reduced hitpoint threshold below which a unit loses movement speed from 80% to 60%

  • Transport ship

    • reduced hitpoints 20 → 10

    • increased naval damage 0.5 → 2

    • increased land damage 0.5 → 1

  • Airplane Transporter

    • increased land damage 0.5 → 1

  • Battleship

    • increased land damage 30 → 40

    • increased naval damage 6 → 40

    • increased hitpoints 80 → 160

Game rules

  • increased suppression threshold 25 → 100

    • this means that a province with 25% morale now requires an army strength of ~25 to be held secure (5 infantry units with 100% morale)

    • beforehand on beta 1-2 infantry units were enough

  • increased maximum revolt damage

    • units: 20 → 100

    • buildings: 20 → 100

    • province morale: 20 → 10

  • increased building damage when conquered to 50

  • increased building damage when sabotaged to 40

  • damaged units now deal more damage than before: Damage now linearly drops from 100% to a minimum of 50% (before on beta: 20%).
