Please note that the following improvements only affect newly created Beta game rounds. Existing game rounds are not affected by these changes.

  • Land units are not walking on water anymore. They are becoming transport ships with reduced damage on water.

  • Air units can be transported on land and will appear as trucks. You can either fly to the nearest airbase as you used to, or transport planes via land roads to province centers. If the airbase is too far, planes will turn into trucks automatically and will be transported by roads.

  • The values for auto-recruitment which is based on province morale were reworked

    • max recruitment speed at 100% morale

    • linear decrease down to 20% recruitment speed at 0% morale

  • AI will be more responsive and make better choices regarding combat strategy

    • AI will distribute their troops more to important provinces. Important provinces are as follows: provinces with many buildings, the capital, provinces neighboring enemies

    • each type of provinces will have its own priority for AI

  • First days’ mobilization penalty was removed. This reduced the effectiveness of attacking in the past and was confusing to many players.

  • New scouting mechanics for buildings were introduced.

    • Buildings will be hidden in provinces until province is scouted or revealed with spies.

    • Once a building is revealed by spies or units, its level will be also revealed. The information about buildings lasts as long as the espionage snapshot or unit vision.

  • Ships will be separated according to the newly implemented armor class. It will give a clearer role to each ship and make naval strategy more diverse.

  • Pricing for army reinforcement was updated.

    • flat base price for healing units was deleted

    • healing price got increased from 25 gold per unit per 10% to 30 gold per unit per 10%

    • micromanaging stacks does not change price anymore as the healing price per 1 unit is now the same.

    • in comparison to before, now stacks of up to 9 units are cheaper to be healed while stacks of 10+ are more expensive than before.

  • Maximum capital distance penalty was changed from -40 to -35.
