Balancing changes
Based on the recent player feedback we implemented some balancing changes in the game. Please note that these improvements are available only in the newly created game rounds.
Fortress hit chance was increased: 1 → 2
Workshop lvl1 hit chance was reduced 1 → 0.1
Recruiting Office hit chance was reduced 1 → 0.1
Workshop lvl 2 hit chance was reduced 0.5 → 0.3
Reason: Lowering the hit chance of low cost buildings will spread the damage to other buildings, making the exploit of rebuilding low cost buildings for shielding other buildings economically unfeasible. Additionally, the Fortress is more likely to be damaged first, this is the new intended way to shield other buildings. This hit chance only has an effect when multiple buildings are in the province.
The balloon scout ability from the last update was reverted
Reason: We revert this change based on player feedback. Submarines got nerfed by the balloon stealth reveal a bit too much, and it is harder to operate them unseen. Stealth reveal combined with a large view range is too good.
The fortress conceal threshold was lowered: lvl 3.5 → lvl 3
Reason: With the reduced defense value now Fortresses are concealing Units too late. We want them to be concealed later than in the old version and on an even level. So for now we picked lvl 3.
General
The minimum rank for the Middle East map was lowered: 10 → 3
Bug fixes
A visual bug was fixed that made the screen blurry if any other panel is active at the same time.
A bug was fixed that caused provinces to take extra morale damage from non-ranged units that don’t actively participate in combat. Provinces only take morale damage from ranged units attacking them.
An issue was resolved that could cause planes to land on another player's airfield, if the owner of the airfield granted Right of Way to an enemy, without the owner of the plane having a say in the matter. Planes now cannot land on airports anymore when one of the parties declared war.
On iOS devices, a bug was fixed that did not take into account detrimental points when selling or buying goods in the stock market.
Several issues were resolved that prevented the search function in games to work correctly
When searching something using any other alphabet than the English one (e.g. Cyrillic) does not provide incorrect search results anymore.
It is now possible to search for the full name of an army, not just the short name.
An issue with alliance ranking was resolved that prevented the growing/shrinking trends to be displayed correctly. The rank values and their rise/drop are now evaluated correctly, i.e. an alliance rising from rank 2 to rank 1 has an improved standing and displays the up arrow.
A bug was fixed that marked players as inactive right before the end of the game which didn’t allow them to get any rewards.
