Release Notes - 2022-03-22
Balancing:
- A new airplane mechanic was implemented for new game rounds in Supremacy 1914. This change significantly reduces the likelihood of bugs, ways to exploit aircrafts and allows for a more streamlined development process, as the mechanic is more like the airplane mechanics used in other Bytro games.
- Airplanes can relocate their patrol positions or change their attack targets without the need to fly back to their departure location if the new destination lies within a 30° cone spreading out from their airbase of departure.
- After a direct attack airplanes will have to fly back though.
- Damage during attacks and patrols is always dealt both ways now.
- Please note that not every attack results in damage though, as the damage is also influenced by factors independent from this airplane mechanics change.
- Patrolling airplanes deal damage against units on the ground.
- Patrol ticks happen every 15 minutes and deal 25% of the damage (both ways).
- After a direct attack or when changing air bases, planes have to refuel for 15 minutes before they execute the next command.
- Due to the new mechanic airplanes can be used much more flexibly and are a bigger threat than before. To keep the game balanced, the statistics of airplanes have been slightly decreased. At the same time more clear anti air unit roles have been established for certain units. Please find further changes below.

- When opening the shop, it will be displayed on top of any menu you might have opened at that moment. This change allows you to immediately return to where you have been in the game, once you close the shop again.
Bug Fixes:
- A bug was fixed that caused the shop to be opened in the background of the storage overview popup when the "Get More" button was activated. The shop is now displayed in front of the popup.
- An issue was resolved that prevented the countdown timer for patrols in the army bar of planes to be displayed.
- A bug was fixed that could cause AI controlled planes to immediately teleport towards their attack target if they were within range at the moment war was declared. AI planes do not skip travel times anymore and take the regular travel routes to reach a target.
- An issue was resolved that could cause an accidental declaration of war between allied nations (Nations with Right of Way, Shared Map/Intel).
- Some typos on different maps were corrected.
